Head of new business development is David King. David is also our retail and leisure specialist. He spent six years with Alpha Airports Group plc, one of the world’s biggest aviation support companies. As an executive director with responsibility for the group’s commercial activities he was in charge of airport retailing, including restaurant and bar services, and duty free. According to David, ‘Time spent listening to consumers and understanding their frame of mind, particularly those on holiday, is never wasted.’ David has over 20 years experience of the leisure sector including senior management or board positions at Sea Containers (Hoverspeed), Gibbs Mew (a regional brewer and pub retailer), Bass Taverns, and Allied Domecq. His knowledge of the international food and beverage market is second to none and invaluable to our work at Manchester Airport and Centre Parcs.
David has led the Milligan team on both the Center Parcs and the London City Airports contracts.
